The Scientific Cooperation with Scientific Societies and Civil Society Organizations Unit in Basrah Governorate, in cooperation with the College of Arts and the Student Activities Department, held its scientific symposium on the International Teachers’ Day, on the fifth of October, under the title (Teachers are the Present and Future Projects) on Tuesday 10/5/2021 at the conferences hall at the College of Arts, with the participation of university professors and members of civil organizations and institutions, who wrote 13 research papers.  The retired professor, Dr. Saddam Fahd Al-Asadi, was honored for his nearly forty years of educational service. Among the topics covered by the research papers are:

1- The teacher’s journey in the educational process.

 2- The importance of modern educational curricula in our educational institutions.

 3- Education in light of the Corona pandemic in Iraq.

 4- Distance education outcomes in light of the Corona pandemic.

 5- The importance of pre-service and post-service training.
