On Monday, November 1, 2021, the College of Arts / University of Basra organized a visit to the Children’s Specialized Hospital under the supervision and follow-up of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdul Hamid Al Kaabi, Dean of the College of Arts and Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Abdul Redha Al-Tamimi. The visit, which was made by a number of professors and employees of the Faculty of the college of Arts, included having a close look at the conditions of the ill children and supporting them by a voluntary donation campaign to support the families of the patients there. The group met with the assistant director of the hospital and some employees, and they were briefed on the reality of the hospital, the injured children, and the type of service provided to them. The group examined and inspected some of the halls and donations were distributed to the patients, asking Allah for a quick recovery. In conclusion, the doctors and hospital staff welcomed this noble humanitarian initiative, which is one of the important visits of Iraqi universities.
