The teaching staff at the College of Arts - the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Salma Abdul Hamid Al-Hashemi/ Department of History/ College of Arts, participated in the second international conference of the Great Prophet, which was held by the House of the Great Prophet at Imam Abbas (p) Holy Shrine on the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday, which was held in the Hall of Imam Hassan, peace be upon him, Hadhrat Imam Al-Abbas, peace be upon him.

The conference included three axes:

 The first axis: the biography of the Prophet before the mission (the Meccan era)

 The second axis: the biography of the Prophet after the mission (the Madena era)

 The third axis: Saraya and the conquests of the Prophet

The conference aims to study the biography of the Great Prophet, God’s Blessings and Peace Be Upon Him and His Family, in the light of the Holy Qur’an and the authentic narrations in order to revise the Prophet’s biography of forgery and distortion.
