Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdul Hameed Al Kaabi, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abd Kazem Flaih, the Department of Arabic Language organized

/ College of Arts / University of Basra organized on Thursday 11/11/2021 a scientific symposium entitled (The Postmodern Poetry, Cubist poetry as a Model).

The symposium, presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Qassem Khalaf Meshar, aims to shed light on the cubist poetry, which is an updated model of Arabic poetry represents a mixture of vertical poetry and prose poem.

The symposium included a discussion of this new poetic model and directing the taste of the recipient towards the modern poetic model.
