An instructor at the College of Arts - University of Basrah, Dr. Abdul Salam Abdul Majeed al-Oqaili, has published a book on media translation entitled:

 A Handbook of Media Translation

The book aims to familiarize students of translation departments with the basics of media translation and to identify the skills necessary to perform this type of translation, by asking and answering questions.

The book consists of 168 pages, divided into two chapters: theoretical and practical. The first chapter deals with the basics of media translation. The second chapter is contains practical examples in the field of media.

The book was printed in Beirut by Dar Al Maaref for University Books.
