The instructor at the College of Arts / Department of Geography / University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Amal Saleh Al Kaabi / Geography Department, has issued a book entitled (Medical Geography - Second Edition).

The book consists of 240 pages divided into nine chapters, which dealt with the concepts of medical geography, its research methods, and the factors of the natural and human environment that contribute to the emergence and spread of the disease. The book also touched on the health care approach and the geographical scope of the pathological phenomenon, and dealt in one of its chapters with global health problems and it was concluded with local applied studies.

The book was printed in Beirut by Dar Al Maaref for University Books.
