Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdel Hamid Al Kaabi, the College of Arts organized on Wednesday 17/11/2021 a panel discussion entitled “Mustadrak on the Verification of Abd al-Salam Harun of the Message of (Manaqib al-Turk) by al-Jahiz”.

The panel discussion, in which Dr. Qassem Khalaf lectured, aims to highlight the verification of the message (Manaqib al-Turk) by Al-Jahiz and the most important observations that the great investigator missed and did not mention, such as not introducing some media and some of the poetic verses contained in the message.

The panel discussion included the importance of the verification, referring to the efforts of the investigators and what Abdul Salam Haroun had done to bring out the heritage books and investigate them to be in the hands of the readers.

For her side, Dr. Azhar / Head of the Arabic Language Department said that this panel discussion comes within the scientific activities held by the department to advance the scientific reality and highlight the importance of heritage and the efforts made to spread it.
