On Monday, 6/12/2021, the Translation Department at the College of Arts / University of Basrah organized a training workshop for students of undergraduate studies entitled (Post-graduation... A study on the orientation of the labor market in Iraq with a set of tips and instructions for finding a job).

The workshop was prepared and presented by the student Hassan Qassem Al-Tamimi in the fourth stage in the Department of Translation, under the supervision of the head of the department, Prof. Zainab Sami and with the participation and supervision of the instructors, asst. lect. Ahmed Fakher Majeed and asst. lect. Ammar Fouad Mashari in the practical side, and the asst. lect. Ahmed Faleh Rabei in the theoretical.

The workshop, which consists of one lecture each week for a period of three weeks starting on the date mentioned above, aimed at instructing students on how to find a job in the private sector, writing a CV and an introductory letter, and how to act and answer in personal interviews after graduation.

At the conclusion, the participants called for the continuation of communication between the graduate students and the workshop staff to identify the difficulties facing the graduate and how to find solutions to them and to educate them on the content of the private sector and its companies and the goal behind working in those companies.
