A Vigil to Denounce Terrorist Operations

In denunciation of the terrorist operation that happened on Tuesday 7/12 and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdul Hameed Al Kaabi, a group of faculty members in the college and a large number of students, the Arabic Department held a vigil, during which candles were lit and some placards were carried condemning this process.

The vigil included the reading of (Al-Fatihah) for the souls of the martyrs, a speech by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Abd Kazem, and speeches by some students.

In his speech, the Assistant Dean condemned the cowardly terrorist act that claimed the lives of innocent people, stressing the Iraqi people's insistence on life and their rejection of these acts. The Assistant Dean also appreciated the students' courageous stance in denouncing these actions, which only produce destruction and future loss.
