The Department of English Holds an Educational Symposium to Protect Against Electronic blackmail

The Department of English, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit and the Scientific Cooperation with scientific societies and civil society organizations Unit, held an educational and awareness symposium entitled (Electronic extortion: causes, risks and methods of prevention) for students of the fourth stage on Monday 20/12/2021.

The symposium dealt with introducing the concept of blackmail, its types and causes, and how to address this negative phenomenon and protect male and female students from its dangers.

The symposium was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Rahim, Director of the Scientific Cooperation Unit, with the participation of the researcher Wafeeqa Al-Moamen, President of the Business Women Organization, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Khawla Hassan Humoud, Director of the Continuing Education Center.

At the end of the symposium, the discussion and asking questions were opened to the students participating in the educational symposium and the questions were answered by the instructors.
