On Monday 27/12/2021, students of the sixth high school class - literary section at Al-Hartha High School for Boys visited the Department of Geography and GIS, accompanied by the teacher Farhan Mazloum. They were received by the head of the department, the asst. prof. Dr. Osama Ismail Othman, and the asst. prof. Dr. Rashid Abd Rashid, who gave a lecture on the study mechanism in the department and the vocabulary of the study subjects in it, and they also answered the students' questions.

The environmental laboratory was also opened in the department for the students, and Mr. Abbas, the technician in the laboratory, presented them with an explanation of the work of the laboratory, its devices, and equipment
