On Wednesday 29/12/2021, the University of Basrah organized the first annual employment day event in the presence of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi.

The event, which was held under the motto "Be creative to find a better job", aims to support small and medium student projects that are applicable in the private sector to achieve economic and societal balance and reduce unemployment.

The event included a presentation of the students' work and projects

 For his part, the president of the university said that the university seeks to improve its scientific output by providing the first opportunity for its students to produce private projects far from government appointments.
