The Department of Geography and Geographical Information Systems at the College of Arts / University of Basrah received female students from one of the high schools.

The principles of geography and its branches were presented with a brief explanation by Assistant Prof. Dr. Maytham Abdul-Hussein Al-Wazzan. As well as presenting an introductory overview of the College of Arts, its departments and scientific facilities.
