The General Secretariat of the Central Library received a group of third-stage students in the Department of Translation at the College of Arts / University of Basrah in order to see the mechanism of the library’s work, the types of books owned by the university and the resources in it, and how to benefit from them in the course of their scientific research. The students were accompanied by instructors (Assistant instructor Alia  Hadi Salem, instructor Dr. Rafid Abdel Hussein Khalaf, and assistant instructor Ammar Fouad Mashari).

The service units were also visited, during which the students listened to a full explanation of the library, its components and sections, the method of searching in it and how to lend, as well as a tour inside the library.
