The Department of English at the College of Arts/ University of Basrah, in cooperation with the scholar Worldwide (Schwlar), organized a symposium entitled (Research and Study Fellowships).
The symposium, which was attended by the Turkish General Consul in Basrah, Mr. Mehmet Ozkon Arman, which was held in Marla Hall / Bab Al-Zubair Complex, aimed to develop plans to provide appropriate opportunities for graduates of undergraduate studies (Bachelor) and postgraduate studies (Masters and PhD) and to introduce scholarships offered by Turkish universities by contacting electronically with Turkish universities in order to obtain research and study fellowships.
The symposium included identifying the application mechanism and the ease of communication with Turkish universities to advance the reality of our students, as well as providing a detailed explanation of the application conditions and mechanisms and the funds provided by the Turkish government to the student who receives the scholarship.
The Consul stressed the need to provide the best services to the Iraqi community in Turkey to provide the best services to Arab and foreign citizens.
