On Wednesday morning, 9/2/2022, the research of Higher Diploma entitled (The Reality of the Technical Institute Library in Nasiriyah: a Case Study), was discussed at the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies at the College of Arts / University of Basrah.

The research presented by the student Safaa Jalil Hadi included four chapters. The first chapter discussed the methodological framework and previous studies, the second chapter dealt with the theoretical framework of the university library, its concept, importance, objectives and services, the third chapter focused on the practical aspect of the Technical Institute in Nasiriyah, and the fourth chapter dealt with conclusions and recommendations.

The research aims to shed light on the features of the services provided by the library of the Technical Institute in Nasiriyah in order to give a clear picture of the status of the library.

The research concluded that the library in Nasiriyah adopted an easy and simplified system for internal and external borrowing.

The research recommended providing more computers to cover the needs of the beneficiaries.
