Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdul Hameed Al-Kaabi, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Haider Abdul-Ridha Al-Tamimi, the Scientific Cooperation with scientific societies and civil society organizations Unit in Basrah Governorate organized a symposium on Monday, 14/2/2022, entitled The Role of Iraqi Women in Community Service.

The symposium, which was held under the slogan (Women in leadership is a key partner in community service), aims to formulate the resolution and its provisions, and to identify the characteristics of the Iraqi leadership woman.

At the symposium, the researchers called for:

1- Activating the role of women in community service.

2- Developing activation mechanisms to revitalize the role of women in society.

3- Searching for solutions, proposals and obstacles facing the implementation of women leadership.
