Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdul Hameed Al-Kaabi, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Ridha Al-Tamimi, and the Head of the History Department, Prof. Dr. Raghad Faisal Abdul Wahhab, the Department of History at the College of Arts / University of Basrah organized a symposium on Monday, 1/3/2022, entitled (The Students of Imam Al-Kadhim <peace be upon him>).

The symposium, which was presented by Prof. Dr. Alaa Kamel Saleh Al-Issawi, aims to introduce the students of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him).

The symposium included introducing the students of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) and clarifying their role in serving Islam, spreading the Jaafari doctrine and confronting intellectual deviation, which is an extension of the school of his grandfather Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him).

The researchers at the symposium called to hold a symposium on the Hussaini mourning ceremonies in the holy month of Ramadan and Muharram.
