The Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies at the College of Arts / University of Basrah organized a workshop entitled Blended Education and Teaching in Facing the Challenges of the ICT Era.

The workshop, presented by Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Samad Khudair, aims to clarify the main themes of the conference according to the general and precise scientific thematic disciplines, which are consistent with the educational and teaching requirements of the department in light of the blended education system, which can be employed in the development of theoretical and applied study programs in addition to clarifying the difference between the curriculum, the course, The vocabulary and description of the subject, its basic principles, the techniques used in its application. As well as how to participate in the conference through the forms attached to it, and how to acquire training skills through advanced educational programs and curricula.

The workshop included several topics, the most important of which were:

 1- The blended education system and the topics under it.

 2- Fields of application of modern technologies in theoretical and applied education.

 3- Distance learning and its types.

 4- Curricula and their importance in developing scientific research.

 5- Curricula and sustainable development.

 6- Curricula and the labor market.

 7- Practical application and using it in searching and retrieving information.

 8- Conditions for participation with the abstract and research.

 9- Conference timings, participation forms and curriculum vitae.
