The President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Saad Shaheen, visited on Wednesday morning 16/3/2022, the College of Arts, and he was received by the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdul Hameed Al-Kaabi.

The President of the University of Basrah, accompanied by the Dean of the College, followed up on his visit the progress of work in the new college building and was briefed on the percentages of achievement in it and the level of performance and construction.

During his tour, he was briefed on the most important obstacles facing the completion of work according to the prepared schedule, the way to deal with them, and the most important proposed solutions to overcome these obstacles.

These continuous field visits by the President of Basrah University come in conjunction with the scientific progress that the university is achieving in international rankings as a solid scientific and academic edifice.
