Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Haider Abdul Redha Al-Tamimi, the Women's Empowerment Unit, in cooperation with the College of Arts / Department of History, organized a festival under the title Auspicious Births.

The festival aims to commemorate the birth of the infallible imams (peace be upon them) and to introduce their biography and follow their path.

The festival dealt with several topics, including holding poetry recitation events for Ahl al-Bayt, Islamic competitions, an activity for Dunia Al-Ahl Kindergarten, and an introductory speech on the biography of the infallible imams (peace be upon them) to commemorate their memory and maintain communication between the university and the community regarding this topic.
