As part of the activities and events of the anniversary of the founding of the University of Basrah, the Department of Translation at the College of Arts held an exhibition of the solid products of the department’s professors on Thursday 31/3/2022 on the gardens of the conference hall in the college.

These outputs are characterized by the diversity of their fields of knowledge and their contents, as well as the inclusion of the majority of them in the department's curricula. The exhibition included some of the department's students' products, which included the translation of poems and books. This exhibition was complementary to the department's activities that were presented within the activities of the Student Festival for University Day celebrations last week.

It is worth mentioning that the exhibition coincided with the first annual international women’s scientific conference held by the departments of Arabic language, translation and history at the College of Arts / University of Basrah in cooperation with the Women Empowerment Unit at the university, which was entitled “Women and the Challenges of Globalization” held on Wednesday and Thursday 30-31/3/2022.
