A master thesis entitled (Daoud Bey Al-Jaf and His Political Role until 1966) was discussed at the History Department at the College of Arts / University of Basrah.

The thesis presented by the student Ali Mohsen Ghadban included a preface about the Jaff tribe. The first chapter was devoted to the life of Daoud Bey Al-Jaf until 1931 AD, the second chapter focused on talking about Dawood Bey Al-Jaf’s role in the Iraqi parliament until 1958 AD, and the third chapter traces Daoud Bey Al-Jaf’s position on internal and external political developments in Iraq until 1966 AD.
