The Scientific Society for Educational Studies, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Arts / University of Basrah, organized a scientific dialogue symposium entitled (The Reality of Postgraduate Studies between Need and Ambition).

The symposium, in which twelve researchers participated, including the deans of the Colleges of Postgraduate studies and Nursing, assistant deans and heads of scientific departments, aimed to present the instructions and laws related to postgraduate studies and to raise some of the problems and difficulties facing the supervising professors and the students in scientific research. The necessary recommendations were made to solve some of the problems raised.

The symposium concluded by awarding the participants certificates of appreciation for their great efforts in making the symposium a success.
