The Department of Translation at the College of Arts Begins Its Training Courses with the Innovation Engineering Company

The Department of Translation at the College of Arts / University of Basrah started the first course of job interviews and how to pass them, which is part of the series of six training courses that were agreed upon between a group of students of the department / evening study and the Innovation Engineering Company for Training and Employment of Human Resources in Basra on Sunday afternoon 10/4/2022 in one of the department halls, to develop students and qualify them to work in governmental and non-governmental institutions, companies, and international and local organizations.

The trainer, Mrs. Milad Munadil Hussein, lectured in the mentioned course.

The other five courses include preparing a CV, basics of firefighting, basics of first aid, awareness of the dangers of hydrogen sulfide gas, computer basics and Microsoft Office.

The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdel Hameed Al Kaabi, the Assistant  Dean for Scientific Affairs Prof. Haider Abdel Reda Al-Tamimi, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abd Kazem Flaih. welcomed this activity because of its importance in enhancing students’ capabilities with the information contained in these courses before and after graduation.

Registration has begun with numbers ranging from (50-100) students, each of which is divided into groups, for the morning and evening studies, and the detailed curriculum for it has been published.

The two parties, Prof. Zainab Sami Hawal, the head of the department, and the director of the training department in the company, Engineer Ahmed Hassan Faleh, indicated that certificates will be granted free of charge to the participants. In the event of a desire to obtain an international certificate issued by the United States from accredited American centers and companies, the fees for that certificate shall be paid.
