Within the youth capabilities development and capabilities Building Program, the Department of Translation at the College of Arts completed its course entitled (Life Skills in Sports). Which started on Wednesday,27 March 2022, in cooperation with the Basrah Youth and Sports Directorate / Organizations section to coordinate and the Physical Education section and in partnership with the German cooperation organization GIZ.

The course program began with a theoretical lecture entitled (Life skills and sports and their importance in the various aspects of life), after which the trainers and students went to the playground yard at the Collage of Arts to perform some physical exercises and ended with the completion of the practical side.

The two parties called the president of the department, Mrs. Zainab Sami Hawol, and the cooperation team to promote the students' sports activities because of their vital role in physical fitness and stimulating the mental aspects of students.
