As part of a series of meetings held by the Women's Empowerment Unit at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, on Wednesday morning, 12 May 2022, meetings were held with several female members of the administrative units.

The meeting, which was managed by the teacher, Dr. Naima Latif Abdullah, coordinator of the Women Empowerment Unit at the college focused on introducing the work and mechanism of the Women Empowerment Unit, the challenges they face, the support they need, discussing their activities, posing all the problems and obstacles faced by the female employees, drawing up a plan of action for the next phase, and finding solutions to these problems by writing a memorandum and submitting it to the Dean and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, and then sending it to the President of the University.
