Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Jalal Jabbar Hassan, the College of Arts conducted on Wednesday, 18 May2022, the attendance competitive examination for students applying for postgraduate studies for the academic year 2022-2023, with the participation of (277) students, including (243) master’s and (34) PhD students within its public and private branches.

The Dean of the College of Postgraduate studies accompanied by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Redha Al-Tamimi, inspected the examination halls and reviewed the progress of the exam questions and the extent of students’ performance in the exam.

Dr. Haider Abdul Redha stated, “The college was calculated to provide the appropriate atmosphere and supplies to conduct the competitive examination and the interviews under the conditions of the University of Basrah, the Ministry of Higher Education and  Scientific Research, and sober scientific standards.
