An Instructor at the College of Arts Participates in a Scientific Seminar entitled (Sufism in the Arab Maghreb)

 The Heritage and Information Investigation Unit at the College of Arts, in cooperation with the Continuing Education section of the Central Library and the Kasnazani Cultural Council in Basrah, established a scientific seminar entitled (Sufism in the Arab Maghreb)

The seminar which was presented by the Director of  Heritage and Information Investigation Unit Prof. Dr. Tawfiq Al-Hajjaj, and was attended by the Director of the Cultural Council and the great poet Hani Abu Mustafa and other members of the Council, and the Director of Continuing Education and Library staff dealt with many topics on the historical roots of Sufism in the countries of the Islamic East and the Maghreb, including the most important scholars of Sufism in Islam especially in Morocco, as well as the political role of the Sufi sheiks in the Maghreb  and their relationship with the Almoravids and the Almohads.

 At the end of the seminar, the respected director of the Kasnazani Cultural Council, Dr. Qusay, presented a shield of thanks and appreciation to Dr. Tawfiq Al-Hajjaj.
