As part of its constant endeavor to develop its staff, the College of Arts at the University of Basrah held a press workshop Entitled ( Basics of Press News) which was presented by Mr. Abbas Al-Fayyad and included how to write the news in its theoretical and practical dimensions.

It was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdul Hamid Al Kaabi, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Haider Abdul Reda Al-Tamimi who distributed certificates of participation to the employees after the end of the training workshop.
