Within the educational curriculum and to achieve the goals of the university, the Follow-up / Safety and Health Unit, in cooperation with the Southern  Oil Company /Safety Authority organized an awareness course entitled ( First Aid).

The course, presented by Mr. Saadi Mahdi Hadi and organized by Mrs.  Yusra Muhammad Ali, aims to introduce first aid and determine how important it is in our daily life and learn about the types of injuries and how to provide them with appropriate aid to reduce the occurrence of complications.

The course included many topics, the most important thing was the awareness of the importance of First Aid measures  and dealing with sudden pathological disorders and accidents such as total and partial consciousness, obstruction of the airways, stopping severe bleeding, fracture, burns, wounds, and artificial respiration and practically provide aid through the use of medical tools.
