The living languages Center at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah held on Thursday, 23 June 2022 the English Language Proficiency Test (IELTS ) in  the multimedia language laboratory (Korean scholarship laboratory), where the test was conducted according to the type (general and academic) and according to the choice of the participants.

The first part of the test, which includes the test of (listening, reading and writing) skills, started from eight o'clock in the morning until eleven o'clock at morning, while the second part, which includes the test of speaking skills, started from one o'clock at afternoon .

It is worth mentioning that the living languages Center at the College of the Arts / University of Basrah is the only center authorized to administer the IELTS exam by the British Council.
