Visit of the Iranian Delegation to the College of Arts

Within the framework of cultural and scientific exchange between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Iraq, a delegation from the Consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran presided by the cultural attache visited the living languages Center at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah where they were received by the director of the center, assistant professor Dr. Samer Taleb Daou.

The purpose of the visit was to view the Persian language courses held by the Persian Studies and Language Unit at the living languages Center, the delegation met with the instructor and the students participating in this course and praised the sobriety of the course, the great commitment of the students, and the good organization of the courses by the center. They also expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Deanship of the College of Arts and the administration of the living languages Center for holding such courses.

For his part, The director of the center thanked the visiting delegation for providing such an opportunity for students wishing to study the Persian language and providing the required reliability for participants in these courses by the certificate that they will receive being accepted in Iranian universities to complete postgraduate studies. 

Note that new courses in the Persian language will begin next July, where you can register for these courses by attending the Living Language Center at the College of Arts/ Bab Al-Zubair colleges complex.
