Discussion of the Student Huda Emad Hadi

On Thursday, 7 July 2022, in the Department of history at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah  a master  thesis entitled ( Moshe Sharett and his political role in Israel until 1965) was discussed.

The thesis presented by the student Huda Emad Hadi included three chapters.The first chapter discussed the role of Moshe Sharett in the Zionist movement (1919-1945) ,the second chapter included the role of Moshe Sharett in the establishment of Israel (1945-1965) , and the third chapter dealt with the role of Moshe Sharett in (Israeli) foreign policy (1945-1956).

 

The thesis aims to identify the most prominent Zionist figures who contributed to the establishment of Israel, as the figure of Moshe Sharett is one of the prominent figures in Israeli modern and contemporary history due to the great efforts he made in the establishment of Israel, so he is considered one of the first pioneers and founding who contributed to the establishment of Israel. 

The thesis came to:

First: the conditions of oppression and persecution experienced by Jews in Russia during the reign of Tsar Alexander II had the greatest psychological impact on the personality of Moshe Sharett, as well as influenced by the personality of his father Jacob Chertok, a Zionist.
