On Thursday 28/7/2022 the Living Languages Center at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah held the English Language Proficiency Exam (IELTS) in the Multimedia Language Laboratory. The IELTS exam was conducted in both types (general and academic) according to the participants’ choice.

The first part of the exam, which includes testing the skills (listening, reading and writing) started at 9 AM, and the second part, which includes the speaking skill test, started at 1 PM.

It is worth mentioning that the Living Languages ​​Center at the College of Arts / University of Basrah is the only center authorized to administer the IELTS exam from the British Council.
