An Instructor at the College of Arts Publishes a Book Entitled (With Imam Al-Kazim (peace be upon him))

Dr. Alaa Kamel Saleh al-Issawi, an instructor at the Department of history at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah published, a book entitled (With Imam Al-Kazim (peace be upon him)).

The book, which consists of(140) pages, is divided into two chapters, the first chapter is entitled (Ali Ibn Yaqtain, a study in his biography and administrative positions) and the second chapter is entitled (Ibn Athina, a study in his biography and scientific status).

The book aims to introduce the intellectual School of Imam Al-Kazim (peace be upon him) and its students, who became responsible for spreading the correct Islamic thought, although the imam (peace be upon him) was subjected to terrorism by the authorities during this period and was imprisoned many times for many years, but he did not neglect to continue supporting this school of thought.

The book included a study of two figures who have great stature in Shiite thought, namely Ali Ibn Yaqtain ibn Musa and Omar Ibn Muhammad Ibn Abd al-Rahman Ibn Athina. Ali Ibn Yaqtain was trusted by the Imam Al-Kazem (peace be upon him) and he even allowed him to assume prestigious administrative positions in the government of Bani al-Abbas, and even the Imam Al-Kazem (peace be upon him) refused to request his resignation from his administrative work more than once so that he could help the oppressed and help the needy. As for Ibn Athina, he was the flag bearer and had debates in this aspect, in addition to carrying the fidelity of keeping the book of Salim bin Qais al-Hilali, and it seems that his keeping this book was one of the reasons for the harassment of the Abbasid Authority until he was forced to go to Yemen and died there.
