An Instructor at the College of Arts Publishes a Book Entitled "The position of the soviet union on the Chinese civil war (1944-1950)”

An instructor in the Department of History and the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul-Ridha Al-Tamimi, issued a joint book with Dr. Aida Al-Hashem entitled “The position of the soviet union on the Chinese civil war (1944-1950)”.

 

The book shed light on the end of the Second World War (1939 - 1945), as the world witnessed the race of both the Soviet Union and the United States of America to obtain their areas of influence in the world in general and the Southeast Asian region in particular on the eve of the Cold War (1945 - 1991 ), the Moscow government had an important role in the international arena، it has a clear impact on changing the contours and map of several countries that are currently major countries at all political, economic, and military levels, including the people's Republic of China in particular،the interest of the Soviet Union, was for several reasons, including to stand in the face of the attempts of the American administration to expand its influence in the region and the undermining of communism by supporting the ruling National Party politically, economically and militarily on the eve of the civil war in China.

 

Hence the importance of this book entitled: "The position of the Soviet Union on the Chinese civil war 1944 - 1950".

The book was printed in Dar  Alkhalij for printing and publishing in Oman.
