Under the patronage of the dean of the College of Arts, Prof.Dr. Majed Abdul Hamid Al-Kaabi, and in the presence of the director of the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Division, Assist.Prof. Dr. Najat Abdul Karim Abdul Sada, the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Division at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah organized  a scientific seminar Entitled “Procedural Methods in Scientific Laboratories”.

The seminar, which was attended by the employee in the quality division, Mr. Mahdi Moayyed Mohammed, aims to explain the procedural methods of laboratories in the College of Arts by adjusting the conditions for records and documents because they are included in the laboratory classification forms to improve the level of laboratory performance in the college.

The seminar included an explanation of the approved procedural methods (records, applications, and documents), including:

1-control of documents and records GLP 5,10 (technical and administrative responsibility for the movements of documents and records ).

2-the procedural method of the working environment GLP 5, 7.2 (technical . Used to secure and determine Occupational Safety ).

3-corrective actions GLP 5.2.4 (administrative .Monitoring of inaccurate results).

4-preventive measures GLP 5.6.3 (administrative .Responsible for identifying cases that lead to nonconformity).
