Dr. Haider Abdulreza Tamimi, an instructor at the Department of history at the college of Arts at the University of Basrah has published a book entitled (The History of Soviet policy toward contemporary global issues

(1927-1944)).

The book consisted of (211) pages divided into five chapters. The first chapter included Joseph Stalin's position on the struggle between the Communist and Intellectual Parties and the Kuomintang in China for the period between 1927-1944 ,the second chapter dealt with the role of the Soviet Union in the surrender of Japan (1945), the third chapter discussed the Soviet position on the Chinese Civil War (1946-1949), the fourth chapter dealt with the Soviet intervention in the Hungarian revolution in 1956, and the fifth chapter focused on Soviet policy towards Poland in 1956.

The book was printed in Dar Alkhalij for printing and publishing in Jordan:Oman, Al Adbli
