Under the supervision of the dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majed Abdul Hamid Al-Kaabi, the scientific and Educational Association for Sustainable Studies organized in cooperation with the scientific cooperation with scientific societies and civil society organizations unit and the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah on Monday 10/10/2022, a Scientific Seminar Entitled (The Safety of Bodies and Souls a Cause for Giving and Rejecting Diseases and Concerns).

The seminar, which was presented by (Prof. Dr. Amal Saleh Aboud, Assistant Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Rahim Salal, Prof. Dr. Bassam Abdullah Abdul Jabbar, and lecturer Afkar Fadel Karim) aims to identify the requirements of mental health and physical and psychological treatments for mental and health diseases.

The seminar included the impact of some environmental factors on mental health and the balance between the requirements of the body and spirit in building and protecting society from mental and physical diseases.

The researchers in the Seminar recommended:

 • 1. Preserving the environment is a human and moral duty.

 • 2. Work in solidarity with all state departments in spreading health and psychological awareness.

 • 3. Hosting mental health researchers to present their positive ideas in community service.
