Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai - President of the University of Samara received in his office the Iraqi historian Prof. Dr. Farouk Saleh Al-Omar, one of the great figures of history in Iraq.

Allawi welcomed the great historian, who gave a qualitative scientific lecture to postgraduate students at the College of Education at Samara University, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Zuhair Qasim Muhammad - Assistant President of the University of Samara for Administrative Affairs - and several professors of the department and those interested in the deep Iraqi heritage.

The two sides exchanged the importance of Iraqi history in its various stages, the location of Samara from this history and its position among the Iraqi provinces, and they stressed the need to exchange historical cultures between the universities of the same country, and the need to attract important competencies and selves in such lectures that have great value, impact, and impression in the minds of students and their future visions.
