On Monday morning, 17/10/2022, in the Department of Arabic language at the College of Arts University of Basrah, a master thesis entitled (The conclusion of the poem and its critical content in the Abbasid era, Ibn Rumi, Al-bahtari, Al-mutanabi are models)was discussed.

The thesis presented by the student Hussein Imad Sadiq included three chapters. The first chapter discussed the poetic purpose of the conclusion ,the second chapter discussed the critical content of the conclusion, and the third chapter included the aesthetics of the poetic ending.

The thesis aims to identify the cultural transformations in the Arabic poem, and its aesthetic and cultural content at the ends of the poems.

 The thesis concluded the importance of the critical content in the conclusion of the Abbasid poem and the poets' care for poetic endings.

The thesis recommended a re-reading of the Arab poetic heritage, according to new, deep and serious analytical conclusions, without looking at the well-known methodological dominances.
