Discussion of the Student Rawa Farid Hussein

On Tuesday morning, 18/10 /2022 in the Department of History at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, a master thesis entitled (Women of the Kings in Ancient Egypt during the Eighteenth Dynasty (1850-1292 BC)

The thesis presented by the student Rawa Farid Hussein included three chapters. The first chapter discussed the role of the women of kings in political, religious, cultural, military and artistic life, the second chapter discussed Queen Hatshepsut, Maat Kare History (1489-1469 BC),and the third chapter dealt with the secondary Egyptian and foreign women of kings.

The thesis aims to identify the role of the women of kings in ancient Egypt in various fields of life in terms of political, religious, cultural, military and artistic terms.

The thesis concluded that the Egyptian woman has a prominent position in the Egyptian society.
