On Thursday morning,27/10/2022,  in the  Department of history at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah a master thesis entitled (Al-Manar Iraqi newspaper and its position on political events and developments in the Arab Mashreq 1964-1967) was discussed.

The thesis presented by the student Radhi Mohsen Yatim included five chapters. The first chapter discussed the emergence and development of the Iraqi newspaper Al-Manar 1964-1967 ,the second chapter included the political events in Iraq on the pages of Al-Manar newspaper ,the third chapter discussed the position of Al-Manar newspaper on the political developments in Iraq 1964-1967 ,the fourth chapter included Al-Manar newspaper and the Arab-Zionist conflict , and the fifth chapter dealt with  Al-Manar newspaper's position on political events in the Arab Mashreq 1964-1967.

The thesis aims to identify the position of the Al-Manar Iraqi newspaper and its position on the political events and developments in Iraq and the Arab Mashreq 1964-1967.

The thesis concluded: About the newspaper’s orientation and policies, its editorials dealt with Arab national issues in all Arab countries.

The thesis recommended reading the Al-Manar newspaper and its positions on political events in the Arab Mashreq.
