On the occasion of the birth of Lady Fatima al-Zahra and within the activities of the Fifth International Spirit of Prophethood Festival, an instructor in the History Department at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Salma Abdul Hamid Al-Hashemi, participated in the meeting of the Scientific Committee of the International Cultural Festival of the Spirit of Prophethood, which is held by the Al-Kafeel Women’s Religious Schools Division of the al-Abbas’s Holy Shrine and in the presence of several different Iraqi university professors.

The meeting, which was headed by Bushra al-Kinani, director of the AL-Kafeel feminist Schools Division of the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine, aims to prepare for the World Conference, which will be held on the eleventh of January on the occasion of the Blessed birth of lady Fatima Al-Zahraa, (peace be upon her).

The meeting also included a discussion of the conference's themes, criteria for evaluating research, the division of sessions and proceedings of the conference, and a discussion of the festival's activities.
