The University of Basrah Organizes a Workshop Entitled (E-mail Skills and Business Correspondence)

 Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majid Abdul Hamid Al Kaabi, the Continuing Education Unit in cooperation with the Alaa Center for Training and Development, organized a workshop entitled (Skills for Using Email and Business Correspondence)

 

The workshop, which was moderated by the Director of the E-Learning Unit, Engineer Abbas Fadel Majid, in which the trainer Alaa Mortada Salman lectured, included an introduction to e-mail, the difference between e-mail and the website, the advantages and disadvantages of free mail and defender, creating e-mail, securing protection, coordinating message paragraphs according to their purpose, coordinating and arranging the message text and dealing with e-mails professionally.

 

The Workshop aims to learn about etiquette and dialogues in other languages ​​and how to verify the validity of e-mail, as well as addressing cyber-attacks, cybercrime and rumors circulating from social media, writing a different message form and the files allowed to be sent by e-mail and applying for jobs via e-mail.

The researchers in the workshop called for:

1.  Directing participants to use e-mail using e-mail as it is more private.

 2.  Orientation to modern technology to take advantage of it.

 3.  Ensure the correctness of the information in the use of social media.
