On Wednesday morning, 2/11/2022, in the Department of Information and Knowledge Technologies at the College of Arts at the University of Basrah, higher diploma research entitled (Libraries of Gifted and Distinguished Schools in Basra City: An Evaluation Study) was discussed.

The research presented by the student Muntaha Muhammad Jawad included four chapters.The first chapter discussed the general framework of the research ,the second chapter included the school library , the third chapter dealt with the practical aspect ,and the fourth chapter focused on the findings and recommendations.

The research aims at the role of gifted and distinguished school libraries in developing and supporting curricula.

The research concluded that the libraries of the gifted schools and the libraries of Elaf high schools for the distinguished lack a separate building.

The results recommended that it is necessary to provide a separate building in each of the talented libraries and Elaf High School for the distinguished.
