The E-Learning Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Arts, University of Basrah, organized a scientific seminar entitled (Electronic Administration and Sustainable intellectual development).

The seminar, in which (Engineer Abbas Fadel Majeed, Dr. Bassam Abdullah Abdel-Jabbar, and the Director of Continuing Education, Shaima Qassem Mohsen) lectured, aims to educate employees on the concept of electronic management, through two axes:

1- Electronic crimes and how to control them from a legal and technical point of view.

2 - Methods of administrative work, and the opportunity to improve the means of administrative communication, which in turn provides an effective administrative climate.

The researchers called for:

 1- Educating and developing employees towards electronic work and modern technology, and putting them in government departments to facilitate the speedy implementation of the tasks entrusted to them.

 2- Conducting educational workshops on how to deal with electronic administration.
