Under the patronage of the dean of the College of Arts, Prof. Dr. Majed Abdul Hamid Al-Kaabi , and under the supervision of the assistant dean for Scientific Affairs and postgraduate studies, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Reda al-Tamimi, on Monday 11/14/2022 AD, the Scientific Society for Sustainable Educational Studies, in cooperation with the Scientific Cooperation with Scientific Societies and Civil Society Organizations Unit and the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Arts / University of Basrah, organized its third scientific seminar on the occasion of the International Day of Impunity for Crime entitled ((International Day of Impunity for Organized Crimes Against Journalists)).

The seminar, in which (Professor Dr. Ali Abdel Samad, the teacher Dr. Ahmed Manea Hoshan, the assistant professor Dr. Abdel Razzaq Rahim and the assist.lect Abdel Jalil Ghadban) lectured, included topics that deal with raising awareness of the dangers of escaping crime and its psychological, social, legal, and political outcomes and its multiple consequences. 

One of the outcomes of this seminar was the call for:

1- Enforcing the law.

 2- Holding the perpetrators of the outlaws accountable.

 3- Reviewing and amending some laws related to punishment or adding new legislation.
