Basrah University Organizes a Counseling Session on (Bullying, its Causes and Treatment)

The Educational Counseling and Psychological Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit in the College of Arts / University of Basrah, organized a counseling symposium for students of the third stage, class (C-D), under the title (Bullying, its causes and treatment).

The symposium, in which each of (the lecturer, Dr. Naima Latif Abdullah, director of the Educational Counseling and Psychological Guidance Unit, and the lecturer, Dr. Diaa Ali Abdel-Reda) lectured, included a definition of the phenomenon of bullying, its causes, forms, motives, methods of treatment, and an indication of the seriousness of the effects resulting from the practice of bullying on others.

Because this phenomenon raises social problems of high danger to the fabric of society - leading to many psychological risks to its members -, the symposium sought to reduce the negative effects that result from the phenomenon of bullying that appeared among society by mentioning the most prominent methods and causes of this situation, and how to treat them, as well as showing a documentary film that simulates the control of the Mongols over Baghdad (656 AH).
